Trump Vows Stronger Strikes on Iran, Says Most Missile Capabilities Destroyed

US President Donald Trump has pledged to intensify military pressure on Iran, claiming that American forces have already destroyed a significant portion of the country’s missile infrastructure.

In an interview on the Brian Kilmeade Show, Trump said US operations against Iran are progressing faster than expected.

“We had no idea it would be this far ahead. We’ve knocked out close to 90% of their missiles,” Trump said, describing the military campaign as being “ahead of schedule.”

Missile and Drone Sites Targeted

According to Trump, US forces have also targeted Iranian missile production facilities and drone manufacturing sites. He claimed the strikes have significantly reduced Iran’s ability to launch further attacks.

The president described the ongoing military operations as some of the most intense actions seen in decades.

“We’re hitting them harder than anybody’s been hit since World War II,” he said.

Protecting Global Oil Supply

Trump also addressed growing concerns over the security of oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important maritime routes for energy transport.

The president said the United States is prepared to escort oil tankers through the strait if necessary.

“If we needed to, we would escort the vessels,” Trump said, referring to rising tensions in the region after reports of attacks on commercial ships.

Rising Oil Prices

The instability around the Strait of Hormuz has already begun affecting global energy markets. Oil prices have surged as traders worry that the conflict could disrupt shipments passing through the strategic waterway.

Iran’s navy has claimed responsibility for several strikes on commercial vessels traveling through the strait, further raising concerns about global energy supply chains.

Trump did not provide a specific timeline for the end of the military campaign but suggested the United States has the resources needed to continue operations.

He emphasized that the US military has extensive capabilities and resources to sustain the mission if required.
